Meet the Principal

Principal Courtney Gremaux

My journey started as a teacher. During that time, I worked with a principal who saw my passion for education and greatly encouraged me to become an administrator. I went back to school to obtain my Master’s Degree and in a few short years, I did just that!

What I find most rewarding is being able to influence decisions to empower staff and students to do their best.

Our school is unique because of the phenomenal staff, students and parents who come together and make Harris a fun, safe and rewarding building. Harris truly is a place where a prime learning environment is cultivated for students and staff to thrive.

Our wonderful Quality Improvement Team (QIT) composed of teachers, administrators and parents, works diligently to decide the goals for Harris. Currently, our QIT is focused on collecting, analyzing and utilizing data to help all of our students reach reading and math proficiency.

I genuinely care about our students and am committed to fostering the best environment possible for them to thrive. I am honored to be in the position of principal and I work daily to make sure our students have fun learning.

On a personal note, my husband and I love to travel! We have also greatly enjoyed hosting foreign exchange students.
